How long does it take to get to the desert from Marrakech?

Marrakech to Merzouga distance is 560 Km. However, it will be split into two days on the way, with a night in Dades Valley. The last day of the tour includes a lot of driving. So, if you have enough time in Morocco, we’d advise you to book a 5-day desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga.

Do I need a sleeping bag for the overnight in the Desert?

No, you don’t need a sleeping bag, you will stay at an equipped desert camp with all amenities.

Are there showers at your Sahara Desert camp?

If you prefer to stay in a standard tent the shower and toilets are shared, but if you choose to upgrade to a luxury desert camp, you will have a private shower and toilet inside your tent.

Is It Possible To Have Vegetarian Or Vegan Food?

Yes, it’s possible to provide vegetarian or vegan food. Please let your driver/guide know on the first day.

How to book and pay?

To confirm This tour, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams.
Usually, we request balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution. Also, we can in some cases accept the complete payment via PayPal however a 5% fee is going to be applied to hide the additional transaction charges. Just in case you’re considering this method, it’s best to rearrange the payment before the tour.
