Day 1Marrakech – high Atlas Mountains – Ait ben haddou kasbah – Dades Valley

In the morning you will meet your driver/guide, to start your 7 Day Tour Marrakech to Chefchaouen via Merzouga, drive through the magnificent high Atlas Mountains and pass Tizi Ntichka (2260m). After an impressive landscape in the heart of these stunning mountains, chain to Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site. Here where many famous movies have been shot such as: prince of persia, Gladiator, Babel, etc.

Enjoy lunch in Ouarzazate” The Hollywood of Africa” where there are many studios and kasbahs, many films have been filmed here as well. Thereafter, continue to Skoura to visit the Amredhyle kasbah, then head to kalaa m’gouna, famous for rose fields and rose products, it’s known for its annual festival during the rose harvest in May. Then, go on to Dades valley where you will enjoy seeing the beautiful rocks formation called” the monkey fingers”. Check into your accommodation in the middle of Dades Gorges.

Day 2Dades valley – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

The 2nd of your 7 Day Tour Marrakech to Chefchaouen, you will leave Dades gorge to Tinghir town, you will admire the beautiful landscape and Berber villages along the way to Todra gorges, After a short walk in the gorges you will continue your journey to Merzouga via Tinjdad and Erfoud famous for its fossils, arrive at your accommodation in Merzouga, you will be welcomed with a glass of tea, before getting ready for the camel ride to enjoy an amazing sunset in heart of Erg Chebbi dunes, After back to your camp for dinner. Also, you will enjoy the Berber music around the bonfire, sleep under 1000 of stars. 

Day 3Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz valley – Midelt – Azrou – Fes

In the early morning you will enjoy a magical sunrise in the dunes, after breakfast and your shower leave for Fes via Erfoud, ziz valley and Middle Atlas to join Midelt where your lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Later on, continue toward Azrou cedar forest where there is a possibility to see some apes, then drive to Fes and drop off at your hotel.

Day 4 Explore Fes

Following breakfast, we will begin our guide tour. Firstly, visit the Royal Palace gate. then into the old Medina through the Blue gate or Bab Boujloud, to visit The Medrassa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries, the Quaraouin mosque and the oldest university in the world. In the afternoon, we drive up to a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Finally, back to your Riad. 

Day 5Fes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will drive to Meknes it was the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail, continue to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis the most important archaeological site in Morocco. Later on, we cross the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Overnight in a hotel/riad

Day 6 Explore Chefchaouen

After your breakfast, you start visiting Chefchaouen or Chaouen who was founded in 1471 as a small fortress by Moulay Ali Ben rashed. It is known as the «blue city» for its traditional buildings. It under was Spanish occupation and was emancipated in 1956, that’s why when you will be there you will feel the big culture, and Spanish influence in architecture. Offers many native handicrafts that not available are elsewhere in Morocco, such as woven blankets and wool garments. Goat cheese, native to the area, is also popular with tourists. Overnight in chefchaouen.

Day 7 Transfer to the airport 

Today, depending on your departure time, we will transfer you to the airport in Tangier, Casablanca or Fes for your departure flight.

The last day of the tour will be from Merzouga to Fes, it does take about 7/8 hours, depending on the stops.

Do I need a sleeping bag for the overnight in the Desert?

No, you don’t need a sleeping bag, you will stay at an equipped desert camp with all amenities.

Are there showers at your Sahara Desert camp?

If you prefer to stay in a standard tent the shower and toilets are shared, but if you choose to upgrade to a luxury desert camp, you will have a private shower and toilet inside your tent.

Is It Possible To Have Vegetarian Or Vegan Food?

Yes, it’s possible to provide vegetarian or vegan food. Please let your driver/guide know on the first day.

How to book and pay?

To confirm This tour, we require a small deposit to be paid over PayPal to our account, the balance is payable in cash at the pick-up, to be paid to your driver in euros, or equal in dollars or dirhams.
Usually, we request balance payments in cash because PayPal also has many transaction fees and operational delays since it’s a world institution.
